Friends of Branksome Heath Meeting
Minutes of meeting on Friday 11 February 2011
Present: Andy Watson, Wendy Olive, Gillian Thomas, Anna Harris
1. Minutes of last meeting and matters arising
o Finances: there is currently £2,750 in the account.
o Andy to query Makro bill, Scholastic Books payment and amount made at the quiz night.
o Anna to share guidelines on financial accountability for charities, to ensure that we are following best practice.
o Film night: there are currently no suitable films available.
2. Staff Wish List
o The following was agreed:
o School garden, as a loan £500
o Sofa for Pupil Services - though more information is needed on cost.
o Percussion instruments £150
o Two mini stereos £40
o Fuji Finepix £88
o Mathletics £500
o Replacement sports trophy £25
o It was also agreed to promote the purchase of an ICT package at a cost of £2,000 as the fundraising aim of the summer fair.
3. Any other business
o It was agreed to support the class enterprises again at the summer fair.
4. Date of next meeting
o After the Easter holiday - to be advised.
