Branksome Heath News - May 2008
CONGRATULATIONS We all wish Mrs Robjohns and her family our warmest congratulations on the arrival of their son and also for Mr West's family on the arrival of their daughter.
YEAR 7 Year 7 Project led by Miss Edge, worked with Montacute School, combining Art, Drama and Sculpture to highlight Diversity and Inclusion. In their presentation to a panel from JP Morgan, they were awarded £600 to develop more community links. Well done Year 7!
YEAR 6 Tag Rugby had two teams at the Poole Festival held at Lytchett Minster Rugby Club. We had to play each other in the quarter finals and our top team lost by one try in the semi-finals to the eventual winners. Thanks to Mrs Gillingham and Mr Robinson who worked hard to prepare the teams.
ROYAL ALBERT HALL A fantastic experience for our Music Group who performed at the Royal Albert Hall during the Easter holidays. The children had an amazing time rehearsing at Bryanstone School and then performing in London as part of the Dorset Music Festival. Many thanks to Mrs Beeston and team for giving up their valuable time to rehearse the group as well as arranging costumes and make- up.
CHILDREN'S NEWSLETTER Congratulations to the team of reporters, writers and editors for their regular "Branksome Heath Brief". We hope to have more of the many events in school reported upon by the children.
